will join the long list of sports personalities attending the 2017 SPORTEL Awards !

Rising star of French athletics, Kevin Mayer is specialized in combined track and field events. He won his first Olympic medal, a silver, in decathlon at the 2016 Rio Olympics. In 2017, for his first title in a senior European competition, he became the new European record holder in heptathlon at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade. He renewed the performance in decathlon, winning his first gold medal at the 2017 World Outdoor Championships in London.

Wendie Renard is the central defender and captain of both Division 1 Féminine club Olympique Lyon and France women's national team. With Lyon she won 11 times the domestic championship and 4 times the UEFA Women's Champions Leagues. She holds 91 caps with her national team.

Mélina Robert-Michon is a French discus thrower. She won the silver medal at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow and at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She earned the bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships in London. She is the current national record holder in discus. 

This year, The SPORTEL Awards will be held on Tuesday 24 October 2017 at 20:00, at the Grimaldi Forum, under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the patronage of the International Olympic Committee.
