Leaders in Performance, the international conference dedicated to the identification, development and management of talent, taking place for the second time on 7th October 2010 at Chelsea FC, is delighted to announce that Kevin Roberts, worldwide CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi and a renowned expert on team culture and performance, will deliver a keynote address in 2010.

Based in New York and overseeing one of the world’s leading creative organisations with a team of 6000 people across 86 countries, Roberts has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands including Toyota, Visa, Proctor and Gamble, Sony Ericsson and Toshiba. But as well as being a leading management thinker, Roberts is also known for his co-authorship of ‘Peak Performance: Business Lessons from the World’s Leading Sports Organisations’ in which a team of experts reveal how the best sports teams keep on winning. Its theories and practices have been adopted by some of the world’s great coaches not least Jose Mourinho, whose Inter Milan recently completed a famous treble climaxing in Champions League success over Bayern Munich in Madrid.

Active in academic life, Kevin is an Honorary Professor at the University of Auckland Business School, and an Honorary Professor of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, Lima. He is Honorary Professor of Creative Leadership at Lancaster University, where he also holds an Honorary Doctorate of Laws. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Waikato in 1998 and has an Honorary Doctorate in Letters from the International University in Geneva. Kevin is a member of the Board of Directors of Telecom New Zealand, and the Chairman of USA Rugby.

Roberts will be combining his knowledge of sports organisations with his extensive experience in business and creative development to deliver a unique address to the gathering of elite professional coaches, managers, performance and sporting directors in sport from all over the world who will be attending the second edition of Leaders in Performance.

He is the second speaker to be announced following the news that Billy Beane, General Manager of the Oakland A’s MLB franchise and renowned baseball legend will also be addressing the delegates.
