MindShare and Global Sportnet, have today announced that their new WPP Joint Venture consulting business will be called Performance Sport & Entertainment.
Performance combines the BroadMind, Global Sportnet and JWT sport and entertainment consulting teams and plans to grow rapidly through organic development, partnership and acquisition. Doors open with a team of forty people, across Europe, based in four offices.
As the sponsorship market evolves, clients are increasingly looking for one company to advise them across territories and for a single perspective across the ever increasing number of opportunities available to them. Performance will, therefore, provide clients with a unique, integrated and strategically driven approach, advising clients in sport, film, music, broadcast, arts and cause related projects.
The European management team for Performance has also been announced:
Mike Jackson, Director of Sponsorship at Ipsos has joined the company as Head of Insight, Mikael Jiffer has been appointed Head of Strategy and they join Managing Partners Archie Sinclair, Mike Rich and Gwyn Dolphin.
Nick Walford has been appointed Managing Director of Performance UK, Friedrich Schulenburg, Managing Director of Performance Germany and Carl Henric Ericsson Managing Director of the Nordic region.
