MEDIApro has reached an agreement with which acquires the two Spanish most important companies specialized in the audiovisual post-production, in advertisement, cinema, television and themed channel fields: Molinare and Mozart located in Barcelona.

With this operation, MEDIApro continues its expansion project in the audiovisual sector that began at the very beginning of the company’s foundation, 9 years ago. Recently strengthen with the entry, in the company’s associates, of the WWP company, world leader in communication services. The invoicing of the MEDIApro group in 2002 reached 168 millions euros.

MEDIApro is a group aimed to offer a complete services of audiovisual communication. The company focuses their activities in audiovisual contents production; sport and cinematographic right management; consulting services related to television and sports; the themed channel creation, design and production and different television formats and genres; as well as the cinema production and in interactive contents.

Engineering and technical services in broadcast and transmission services are other activities carried out by the group.

With more than a thousand employees, the company has headquarters in Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, Seville, Tenerife, Paris, Lisbon, Porto, Amsterdam, Budapest, Buenos Aires and Miami.

Through its own or participated companies, and together with the leading companies of their respective markets (like France Telecom, Carlton Communications, Portugal Telecom Multimedia, Grupo Planeta, Grupo De Agostini, Sports Five, El Deseo), MEDIApro has become one of the leading groups in the European audiovisual sector.

Molinare
Company set up in 1988, their main activities are the image and sound post-production and give different kinds of technical and creative services. The company’s main working areas are the advertisement post-production, the television and cinema post-production, the technical service of continuity given for television channels, the graphic design and the corporate image. The invoicing of the company predicted for this year is about 10 millions euros.

Molinare combines a human team, formed by more than 80 professionals highly qualified, and a technical equipment that permits to offer post-production services with the most advanced and digital technology.
Among its clients there are the most outstanding advertisement agencies and producer companies, such as FCB TAPSA, Vitruvio, Saatchi&Saatchi, Tiempo BBDO, Lee Films, Puente Aéreo…, that has permitted to the company participate in campaigns of prestigious brands like Amena, Opel, Coca Cola, Mc Donald’s, Visa, Renault, Auna, Procter & Gamble…

In the television and cinema fields the most outstanding clients are producer companies like El Deseo, Bocaboca Producciones, Star Line and the television channels themselves like TVE and Antena 3 TV.

An other business area of the company are the continuity services for channels like AXN and FOX.

Mozart
MEDIApro has acquired the major participation of Mozart, company dedicated to the audiovisual post-production, with 15 years of experience in the sector, that end the 2002 with an invoicing of 3 million euros.

The company’s dedication to the advertisement post-production has made this company participate in prestigious campaigns with innovative sports of products like Coca Cola, Nescafé, Audi, Vitalinea, Aspirina, Evax, Cacaolat, Ruffles, Bacardí, Pescanova, VW Polo, or the Forum 2004, and has compound jingles for different commercial brands like Skoda Octavia, SEAT Leon, Audi A-3, VW Golf, Nissan, Mango, or Massimo Dutti among others.

Among its clients there are the most outstanding advertisement agencies and producer companies like Mc Cann, Tandem, Miss Wassabi, Walter Thomson, Tesauro and a large etcetera.

Mozart also participates in the cinema post-production with films like Food of Love, Anita no pierde el tren or El Gran Gato by Ventura Pons.
