Media Content PLC announces the appointment of Patrice van de Walle as Vice President Development, with immediate effect.

Patrice, who joins from Sony Pictures Entertainment, will be responsible for co-ordinating Media Content’s London office in place of Siabhan Duguid-Graffius who is now VP Asia Pacific and head of the company’s recently opened Hong Kong office.

During his career with Sony, Patrice worked as an executive in the International Television Sales division and the Corporate Development Group rising to VP of Corporate Development Europe. In 1996-7 Patrice co-managed Sony’s satellite television operation in Bombay, India, where he helped quadruple the ratings, market share and revenues of the venture.

Prior to this, he was also involved in the launch of German music station VIVA as well as various production companies in the United Kingdom and Germany. Earlier in his career he served as a development consultant for the U.S government in Africa and Asia.
