Woking, United Kingdom, 25th February 2004: The Team McLaren Mercedes team is pleased to announce the continuation of its long-term Partnership with Schüco, which marks the latest in a series of contract extensions and new Partnerships announced by the team in the build-up to the 2004 Formula One season.

Schüco, one of the world’s leading suppliers of system technology and components for façades, windows and doors in commercial and domestic buildings, have been a Corporate Partner of Team McLaren Mercedes since
1999. During this time the relationship has developed and Schüco has also become an Official Partner to the McLaren Technology Centre, the McLaren Group’s new headquarters. This has seen Schüco assume the vital role of providing solutions to meet the technically challenging design of the McLaren Technology Centre’s s-shaped façade.

‘We are delighted to announce that we have the continued support and commitment from Schüco at the start of what will be an exciting year for the McLaren Group both on and off track,’ commented Ron Dennis, Chairman and CEO of the McLaren Group. ‘The 2004 Formula One season, which gets underway in ten days, again promises to be both interesting and challenging
which heightens our appreciation of the support we receive from Schüco. In addition 2004 marks the beginning of a new era for the McLaren Group, with the full relocation of the Team McLaren Mercedes team to the McLaren Technology Centre. This development has greatly benefited from Schüco’s expertise and attention to detail and we are excited about the future
opportunities the McLaren Technology Centre will provide.’

‘It is always the strength of a team that will determine how it fares against the competition,’ said Dirk U. Hindrichs, President and CEO of Schüco International KG. ‘Schüco and Team McLaren Mercedes are a top team, driven by commitment and passion. There are many good reasons for us to continue working successfully together in the future. We also hope that in the years to come Formula One will be as exciting as it was last season and that skill mixed with a little luck, will bring us success.’
