Marsh Launches Global Events Practice

Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, has launched a Global Events Practice to provide risk and insurance solutions to sports and events clients worldwide. Led by Global Events Practice Leader Warren Harper, the Practice will provide risk management programme design, crisis management, contingency planning and insurance services to Events Organising Committees, Sports Federations and Governing Bodies.

Marsh has considerable experience in the management of risk and insurance programmes for large-scale events. Members of the Global Events Practice have been involved in every summer and winter Olympic Games since Calgary in 1988, the Football and Rugby World Cups, and most recently was involved in the risk and insurance programmes for the new national stadium at Wembley.
