CLEVELAND, Ohio, January 16, 2003 — IMG, the world’s largest sports and lifestyle marketing and management company, today announced to its worldwide staff that founder, chairman and CEO Mark H. McCormack has been hospitalized following cardiac arrest. He had immediate medical attention, and his condition has stabilized.

Bob Kain, President and COO of IMG North and South America, and Alastair Johnston, President and COO of IMG International, will continue to oversee day-to-day operations.

Mr. McCormack’s family is with him, and it is hoped that their privacy will be respected during this time.
