Madrid 2012 is pleased to announce that Mr. Alessandro Sansa, former Director of the Ligue Europèene de Natation (LEN), has been signed. The new International Relations Manager has started his operations on 15th March 2004.

Feliciano Mayoral, Secretary General of ACNO and the NOC of Spain for several years, a former captain of the Spanish National Volleyball team, claimed to be very happy with the new collaborator: ‘We have started to plan our future work, specifically in relation to the preparation of the dossier and all those operations that will be necessary to compete during the second phase. One of our major aims is to integrate dynamic people into our office, with international experience, coming from the base of Sports’.

Mr. Sansa, an Italian national with German origins, has a strong background in the administration of sports and a reputation to have excellent communication and organizational skills. 38 years of age, speaking fluently Italian, English, French and German, he will work for the Media and Sports Department too, reporting directly to Mr. Mayoral, President & CEO of Madrid 2012.

‘The opportunity to become a member of the team Madrid 2012 is an immense satisfaction and a great challenge at the same time’, said Mr. Sansa. ‘One can breath that everybody in Madrid and Spain, a surging nation, is pulling in the same direction.
