Nuremberg / July 27, 2006 – M-net, Bavaria’s leading telecommunications company, is 1. FC Nuremberg’s latest club partner as of the beginning of the upcoming season. The partnership, brokered by FCN’s marketing agent SPORTFIVE, was initially signed for two years. Under the terms of the collaboration, M-net will exclusively present the 1. FCN’s goal scorers on the easyCredit stadium’s videowalls, and have an ad on the rotating TV boards.

“M-net has already been a Club Friend to 1. FC Nuremberg through its NEFkom brand, and we are very pleased at the extension of our partnership with this up-and-coming and locally committed company from the region,” said FCN President Michael A. Roth.

“People in the region love 1. FCN, and we are positive that the club is poised for a great deal of sports success in the years ahead. We very much look forward to working with them,” declared Dr. Hans Konle, CEO of the M-net Telekommunikations GmbH.

“The club – and we ourselves – have been using phone lines provided by NEFkom, an M-net brand, since 2004, and we’re very satisfied customers,” said Hendrik Schiphorst, head of the SPORTFIVE team in Nuremberg. More information on M-net is posted at http://www.m-net.de/.
