Ian Ayre, Commercial Director, Liverpool FC, has confirmed that he will be speaking at the Soccerex Asian Forum taking place 28-29 July at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.

Ian is the latest of a series of big names coming from both inside and outside the Asian market confirmed to speak at the event including Mohamed bin Hammam (President, AFC), Worawi Makudi (President, Thailand FA), David Dein (former Arsenal FC Vice-Chairman & International President of England 2018) and Andrea Radrizzani (Group CEO, MP & Silva).

Prior to taking on the Commercial Director position at Liverpool FC, Ian – a lifelong Liverpool fan – spent 15 years living in Asia including several with sports marketing giant Total Sports Asia. As such his Asian focussed business experience makes him perfectly suited to lead the discussion on understanding the Asian fan base and respecting Asian business codes and practices.

This is something Ian has been implementing at Liverpool FC with huge success through a series of sold out pre-season tours and sponsorship deals in recent years making them one of the most popular European clubs in the continent.
