Some of the world’s sporting legends on and off the pitch will be attending Soccerex 2005 in Dubai to collect Lifetime Achievement Awards for their services to sport.

Global footballing icons will rub shoulders with sporting ambassadors from Rugby, Golf and Athletics to collect their accolades infront of 500 movers and shakers from the business of football at the glittering Soccerex Gala Dinner on Monday 14th November 2005.

Those receiving awards include:

Sir Bobby Robson, Former England Manager and one of the most passionate and respected Coaches in world football

Eric Cantona, Man Utd legend, FIFA Beach Football Ambassador and one of the world’s footballing icons

Pierluigi Collina, The Italian Official recognised as the best referee in the world by David Beckham

Lord Sebastian Coe, Olympic Champion who led London2012 to victory in the race to stage the 2012 Olympics

Martin Johnson, Captain of England’s victorious World Cup side and The British Lions

Ken Schofield, European PGA Tour Director, responsible for the growth of professional golf across Europe
 
Ferenc Puskas, former Captain of Hungary and Real Madrid, and arguably one of the greatest footballing legends of all time, will be honoured at the dinner in his absence as he recovers from illness in hospital.
