With a noticeable shift in the balance of power to countries and clubs that are both ambitious and well-funded, Leaders in Football is delighted to announce a keynote interview with Ünal Aysal, President of Galatasaray SK for its 6th edition on 9th and 10th October 2013 in London.

Ünal Aysal is the 34th president of Galatasaray and under his guidance; the club has returned to winning ways in the national league and challenged the established order in Europe. With personal wealth generated from his 23 companies that form part of the Turkish energy giant, the Unit Group, he has been able to attract some of the top names in world football to his club.

James Worrall, CEO, Leaders says “After last year’s keynote interview with Andrea Agnelli, President of Juventus, we received very positive feedback on the session with delegates keen to understand more about the vision and plans of the real power brokers in European football.  It is with this in mind that we asked Ünal to address the audience and explore his vision for the future of Galatasaray within the European game and we are delighted that he has accepted.”

The conference last year brought together 30 world leaders to debate the key issues facing football in a unique and high level networking environment. Furthermore, it brought 160 accredited media, as well as director-level delegates from 300 international and domestic clubs, 100 Federations and 50 Leagues to what is recognised as the premium annual event in the international football business calendar, with an invitation-only audience of 1,000 senior level delegates from more than 50 different countries.

The 6th edition of the event is shaping up to be the best yet with a host of world figures about to be announced as speakers and attendees. Previous speakers have included Gianni Infantino, General Secretary, UEFA, Alexey Sorokin, CEO Russian 2018 World Cup Organising Committee, Don Garber, Commissioner, Major League Soccer, Ángel Maria Villar Llona, President, Spanish Football Federation, Jean-Claude Blanc, General Director, Paris Saint-Germain FC and many, many more.
