Monte Carlo, Monaco – The ATP, the governing body of the men’s professional circuit, today announced an
agreement with La Chemise Lacoste that will see the international sportswear leader extend its commitment as
the Official Clothing Sponsor of the Tennis Masters Cup for a three-year term through 2006.

Lacoste sponsored the Tennis Masters Cup in 2002 in Shanghai and again in Houston last year. Under the
extended agreement, Lacoste has confirmed its standing as a long-term supporter of one of tennis’ most
prestigious events.

The Tennis Masters Cup, to be held in Houston, Texas for the second consecutive year from November 13-21,
2004, features the world’s top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams. The tournament carries $4.45
million in prize money. The INDESIT ATP Race winner and World No. 1 has been crowned during the week of
the Tennis Masters Cup in each of the past four years.
