The Indy Racing League will conduct a teleconference at noon (EST) Tuesday, Feb. 15, featuring the three Northern Light Indy Racing Series drivers participating in the True Value IROC Series – racing’s all-star game – this year: Eddie Cheever Jr., Mark Dismore and Greg Ray. 1998 Indianapolis 500 winner Cheever is racing in the series for the second consecutive year, while Dismore and 1999 Indy Racing League champion Ray are making their IROC debuts. The four-race series, which pits 12 of the world’s top drivers in identically prepared stock cars, starts Feb. 18 at Daytona International Speedway. This is the first time that more than two Indy Racing League drivers have been invited to participate in the series in one year. Cheever, Dismore and Ray will talk about the honor of being named to the prestigious series while also rating their chances for victory at Daytona and other rounds, including the finale Aug. 4 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The conference call will be conducted in listen-only mode for clear listening and recording. Only accredited media should ask questions of the featured guests.
