Following the election of a new President of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), Justian Suhandinata has resigned from his positions of IBF Vice-President and Council Member.

In his resignation letter, Drs. Suhandinata – a candidate at IBF’s presidential elections last June – said he wished to resign from his post in order to give the new Board of Council of PBSI a more free foreign policy.

Accepting Drs. Suhandinata’s decision, IBF President Korn Dabbaransi recognised the significant contribution he had made to IBF affairs, particularly in the area of Development, since becoming a Council Member back in 1986, and latterly as Vice-President since 1993.

President Dabbaransi, on behalf of the IBF Council and Secretariat, wished Drs Suhandinata well and thanked him for his contribution to badminton both in Indonesia and around the world.

The position will be left vacant until the 2002 Annual General Meeting.
