IEC in Sports has been appointed by the organisers to exclusively distribute the international television rights for the 2004 Carlsberg Cup – Asia’s longest running annual tournament involving national teams.

All four participating national football teams in the Carlsberg Cup were announced at a press conference in Hong Kong on December 22nd. Euro ’04 qualified Sweden will play Norway in their first match whilst rising stars Honduras, coached by Bora Milutinovic will play Hong Kongs League XI.

‘The Sweden Vs Norway match is a huge fixture and is a terrific start to the tournament’ said IEC’s CEO, Jonas Persson.

The Carlsberg Cup is now in its 15th year. All three visiting teams have been past winners with Sweden (1996) Norway (2001) and Honduras (2002)
