Stockholm-based sports agency IEC in Sports has renewed its television distribution contract with the ARAG World Team Cup in Düsseldorf for another term. ARAG World Team Cup is played in a mini Davis Cup-format with the eight best national teams in the world. In last year`s final Slovakia beat Russia in the final.

Other competing teams included Sweden, Germany, Chile, Australia, USA and Spain.

Next year`s tournament will be played 20-26 May at Rochus Tennis Club in Düsseldorf. The surface is as always clay. The event is staged on thwo parallell courts with two national matches going on at the same time. All games on both courts are covered by television.

In 2000 18 TV companies around the world accessed more than 500 hours from this prestigeous tennis tournament.
