IEC in Sports has entered into a co-operation with the European Amateur Athletics Association (EAA).

The new agreement is valid for three years and includes all television rights outside Europe.

‘IEC is very pleased to continue distributing many of the very best indoor and outdoor athletic events in Europe through the new deal with the EAA’, says Magnus Tegel at IEC in Sports.

IEC now represents a package of over 25 athletics meetings which include a host of IAAF meets and EAA events including European outdoor and indoor Championships.

The SPAR European Cup is also included in the agreement between EAA and IEC in Sports. The next European outdoor Championships will be staged in Munich 2002.
