The International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced today that HUGO BOSS has extended its partnership with Davis Cup until 2005. The fashion house has been an international sponsor of Davis Cup for 15 years providing clothing for Davis Cup officials, ball boys and ball girls.

HUGO BOSS and Davis Cup share the values of quality and excellence and we are pleased to provide a global platform for such a prestigious brand.’

Davis Cup by NEC is the largest, annual international team competition in sport with a record 142 nations entered in 2001. Joining HUGO BOSS as international sponsors of Davis Cup are NEC, Heineken and BNP Paribas who will take over as title sponsor of Davis Cup from 2002.

Four nations will compete in the Davis Cup Semifinal Round in September hoping to win the most coveted trophy in tennis. The Netherlands will host France in Rotterdam while Sweden will travel to Sydney to play Australia. The Davis Cup Final is scheduled to be played from 30 November-2 December.
