Today (THURSDAY 14 SEPTEMBER) Haydock Park announced the appointment of Adam Waterworth as the new General Manager. He comes with a wealth of experience of racecourse management overseeing the RHT courses of Huntingdon, Market Rasen, Nottingham, Warwick and Wincanton.

Adam Waterworth said: ‘I am delighted to be joining such a strong team at Haydock Park and look forward to taking the course even further forward.’

Kirkland Tellwright is to take on the role of Clerk of the Course and joins from the Macau Jockey Club where he is a Senior Stipendiary Steward having previously been a local steward at a number of North West racecourses, including Haydock Park. Tellwright said: ‘This is an opportunity not to be missed, I am already familiar with Haydock Park and can’t wait to start.’

Bill Whittle, Chairman of Haydock Park said: ‘This is really good news and I feel we have put in place a very strong and exciting team for the future.’
