Leading menswear brand Hackett has introduced a new limited edition Rugby Football Union ‘England Rose’ clothing range.

The collection, which continues Hackett’s long-standing association with the England Rugby Union Team, fuses the Official Rose of the England team and the famous Hackett brand name.

Under the deal, arranged on the RFU’s behalf by its exclusive licensing agent Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, Hackett have created a range of polo shirts and sweatshirts and introduced two colourways of the now traditional Hackett Polo.

The heavier jersey sweatshirts come in a plain navy, part-zip and a full zip on the sky with navy raglan sleeves.

The range, launched to coincide with England’s Investec Challenge Autumn Internationals against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, is available at Hackett’s UK shops and The Rugby Store Twickenham.

The range will be extended prior to major rugby tournaments, the next being the Six Nations Championship, starting in February 2003.

Commenting on the new collection, founder Jeremy Hackett said: ‘The new Hackett England range looks great and reinforces our link with the England rugby team. The launch of this range, the signing of Jonny Wilkinson and a new three-year deal with the Rugby Football Union firmly establishes Hackett’s association with English rugby at a very exciting time for the sport.’
