Mark H. McCormack confirmed today that Nick Faldo has re-joined the international management company, IMG.

Faldo was managed by IMG from 1976 until December 1996, during which time he was a 3 times winner of both the Open Championship and the US Masters.

Mark McCormack is delighted that Nick Faldo is returning to the care of his experienced management team, and will remain closely involved in Nick’s career.

‘I have always been very attached to Nick having been personally involved in his career since he turned professional in 1976 and have very much admired all that he has achieved in golf. I am very pleased he has chosen to return to us and am enthusiastic about the opportunities that IMG will take to this great golfer. It was wonderful that he had such a good first week back with us, with a fine performance at Wentworth in the Volvo PGA Championships, and it is gratifying to see how well he was able to perform when he once again had peace of mind that his business affairs were in safe hands.’
