The Golf Foundation has reached an agreement with the marketing solutions company, World Sports Solutions (WSS), which should enable the Foundation to further develop its relationships with the commercial sector. WSS will be working to establish the right commercial partnerships for the Foundation and then deliver mutually beneficial marketing solutions.

Golf Foundation Executive Director, Mike Round commented, ‘In our Golden Jubilee year it is right that we should look back at our achievements since 1952. However, we must also look forwards to the next 50 years.’ He added, ‘Although we are a charity, the world of sport is an increasingly commercial environment and WSS will be helping us make the right connections in that arena.’

Michael Farnan, Chief Executive of World Sports Solutions said ‘World Sports Solutions is delighted to be involved with the Golf Foundation to help bring the sport to a wider audience. At the same time we feel that we can bring real value in introducing commercial partners.’

WSS represents Gary Player in Europe, and also represents a host of other high profile sporting companies and individuals including WilliamsF1, Leeds United, Luis Figo, Rio Ferdinand, Richard Johnson & Brian O’Driscoll.
