GlobeCast is onsite delivering the BWF Badminton World Championships in Paris this week from 23-29 August 2010 for Total Sports Asia.
GlobeCast is providing an SNG and two delivery paths – the first for a World Feed and the second for ad-hoc tape playout and live standups.
For the World Feed, GlobeCast sends the signal directly from the stadium to Intelsat-905 for pickup by European clients. At the same time, GlobeCast downlinks the signal at its Paris facilities and delivers the signal via the GlobeCast Backbone Network to Singapore where it is then uplinked to GlobeCast’s capacity on Asiasat5 for Asian clients.
In addition, GlobeCast is providing live web streaming from the stadium for Total Sports Asia.
