FIM Endurance World Championship Expands Into China

On Saturday 18th October 2003 in Magny Cours, France, an international press conference was held by FGSPORT Group Managing Director Mr. Vincenzo Lamaro, and Zhuhai New Century International Management Company Ltd. Director Mrs. Ling Zheng, announcing the finalisation of the 3-year
agreement to stage a round of the FIM Endurance World Championship in the People’s Republic of China from 2004.

The ‘Zhuhai 6 hours’ on 1st/2nd May 2004 will be the first ever FIM Road Racing World Championship to be organised in the People’s Republic of China. It marks an important and historic step in the development of motorcycling. The event will be supported by all Endurance Championship Teams and
will be the second meeting in the 2004 Championship calendar that foresees 8 events in different countries.
