FIBA Europe and ULEB met yesterday in Munich, Germany. At the meeting chaired by FIBA Secretary General Patrick Baumann assisted also FIBA Secretary General Emeritus Borislav Stankovic, FIBA Europe President George Vassilakopolous, ULEB President Eduardo Portela and
FIBA Europe Executive Director Nar Zanolin.

FIBA had submitted a written proposal to both parties as a base for a possible agreement. FIBA Europe and ULEB agreed to use this proposal in their further discussions and will present to FIBA their comments before September 15, 2004 at the latest. Shortly after receiving the comments FIBA
will convene the parties to continue negotiations.
