Fast Track, the highly successful UK sports-marketing business founded by athletics legend Alan Pascoe, will open its first overseas office later this year.

The General Manager of the Laureus World Sports Awards, Nacho Diaz, will head up the operation in Madrid, Spain.

The business will initially concentrate on developing Mercedes Tennis and Golf interests in Spain, plus the event management of next years Laureus awards in Monte Carlo.

Alan Pascoe believes the expansion into Europe marks a new era for his company: ‘I am very pleased that Fast Track will have a base in Europe and am delighted by the business opportunities which this will bring. It’s a new development for the company – at an extremely exciting time.’
