Extreme International, part of the Extreme Group, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Yes Satellite TV to distribute Extreme Sports Channel in Israel. The Extreme Sports Channel, the world’s first adventure and adrenaline sports service, is available on the Yes Satellite TV platform from July 15th. The channel is part of the Yes Satellite TV digital direct-to-home satellite platform on the Amos satellite and available to viewers all over Israel.

Extreme Sports Channel is offered by Yes Satellite TV as part of the sports package of its new digital direct-to-home satellite service. The service offers Israeli viewers a large number of digital national and international TV channels as well as radio.

The Extreme Sports Channel, a joint venture between Extreme International and UPCtv, Europe’s largest cable operator, is the world’s first television channel dedicated to extreme sports and lifestyle offering 24 hours a day non-stop action from surfing to snowboarding, in-line skating and mountain biking. It is a significant addition to the sports choice available on television, offering more than just sport.
