TLN Telelatino is a privately held company offering Canadians a variety of domestic and international programming in Italian, Spanish and English. The service is available to 3.5 million cable households across Canada and is also distributed via Direct-to-Home satellite.
TLN Telelatino President Aldo Di Felice commented : ‘We are excited to be bringing a new sports news channel from Europe that focuses on sports such as soccer, track and motor sports racing don’t always receive the extensive coverage in Canada they deserve’.
This enthousiasm is shared by Eurosport’s President, Mr. Angelo Codignoni, who said: ‘It’s great to have landed on the shores of Americas, starting in Canada. Eurosportnews was launched less than a year ago and we are excited to see there is a great appetite for this kind of sports programming around the globe’.
