The Eurosport Group announced today the appointment of Arnaud Maillard as Internet Director, with immediate effect. He will report directly to François Schmitt, Deputy Managing Director, of Broadcast and Technology Operations.
Arnaud Maillard, 37, Masters Graduate in Broadcast Law and Administration, has extensive experience within the online industry. Since 2005, he has been Group Channel Manager, MSN France. Prior to this, he spent 10 years at AOL where he forged his unique expertise in online content development and partnerships. His exceptional know-how and talent in online strategic development will be of great value in his role to integrate Eurosport’s New Media activities across the group’s multimedia platform in union with its ambitions for the future, within the global media industry.

Thanks to his managerial skills in an international business environment, Arnaud will lead Eurosport’s New Media teams (Development/Marketing, Editorial and Multimedia Production) in achieving the department’s strategic objectives.
