Eurosport Appoints Senior Sales Manager

Eurosport, today announced the appointment of senior sales manager, Nick Bauer, 30, who joins the company from Carat International Global Media where he account managed Vodafone, Disney and Diesel. Bauer’s appointment reflects Eurosport’s strategy to gain greater insight into the agency world to enable it to develop its media offering more accurately in line with agency needs.

David Orman, Eurosport’s Sales Director commented: ‘In 2004 we have set ourselves a key target of gaining a deeper understanding of agency needs in a rapidly changing media market so that we improve and tailor our service accordingly. Nick’s experience will give us the view from ‘the other side’ and open up opportunities for us to explore how media owners can cater more tactically for their clients.’

Bauer added: ‘There is nothing worse for an agency than having their time wasted by a media owner – I hope to use the insight I have gained at Carat to ensure that Eurosport’s dealings with international agencies are better than the norm.’
