Barcelona, October 23rd, 2006. This year Euroleague Basketball will be emitted in more countries than ever, bringing the best European basketball closer to fans and viewers. Some features of the expansion in television programming include:

– This year’s Euroleague Basketball opening game, DKV Joventut vs. Panathinaikos on Tuesday, October 24th, will be shown in 10
   countries (Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, UK, Ireland, Poland, Bulgaria, USA and Canada).

– Games played during the first week of the regular season will reach a minimum of 118 countries on all five continents.

– Germany and Bulgaria will be added to the growing list of countries that will have live transmission of Euroleague Basketball
   games.

– Teledeporte of Spain will dedicate almost the entire day of October 24th to Euroleague Basketball, with exclusive programming
   beginning at 8.30 and lasting until 23:00 CET.  The Teledeporte programs will include:
