Ercrugby.com Attracts over 10,000 Fans for Online Audio Broadcasts

ercrugby.com is setting new standards in the online audio broadcasting of Europe’s top club rugby matches.

A total of over 10,000 fans from around the world have tuned in and listened to live games on the ERC website, and with crunch Heineken Cup Round 6 ties to be played this weekend to determine quarter-final qualification, that figure is expected to rise considerably.

So far this season, 52 of the 60 Heineken Cup matches have been broadcast live, using 72 different live commentaries, with games being broadcast in English, French and Welsh.

At the same time, 11 key games in the Parker Pen Challenge Cup, including all the first round of quarter-finals, have been presented live online.

For the final Pool round there will be live commentary from 10 of the 12 Heineken cup games, as well three of the four Parker Pen Challenge Cup quarter-final second legs.

Working with a record six broadcast partners this weekend – BBC, RTE, Radio Borders, News talk 106, Live 95FM, and SUD Radio – ercrugby.com will present comprehensive coverage of the crucial final round.

The games are broadcast on Sotic MatchDayLive platform allowing fans to both tune into the game and chat with other fans so sharing the emotion as the tension builds for who will qualify for this years knock out rounds.
