This year we partner up with TAFISA, the Association for International Sport for All! As part of our Summit, we organize a joint programme centred on sport for all and innovative ways to get people moving. Making change happen | How to build communities through sport?

Sport has a crucial role to play in the way we want to shape our future. It has the power to transform lives and make a true difference in transforming and building communities. But what kind of world do we want to build for future generations? And how can sport be the driver of this change?

Speakers will include Yoshiko Osamura, IAKS Executive Board Member, Japan, Yoan Noguier, Co-Founder and Managing Director of the Yunus Sports Hub, Midori Harahata, Staff of coach development section Nagano Junior Sports Clubs Association, Japan as well as representative of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Active City Innovation

Just like in other areas of society, innovation is everywhere in the sports world. What do new technologies have to offer to cities to encourage their populations to become more active?

Speakers will include Eckehard Fozzy Moritz, Innovationsmanufaktur, Germany,  Joris Wils, Director of Sports, City of Antwerp and Jakub Kalinowski, President of V4Sport Foundation.

Jakub Kalinowski, President of V4Sport Foundation will make a presentation on how meaningful small data can held to get people active.

Adapting Cities to an Aging Society

Ageing populations are poised to become one of the most impactful social changes of the twenty-first century. How can cities best prepare for this change through sport?

Speakers will include Malgorzata Szukalska-Wrona, Polish Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Yasuo Yamaguchi, Board Member TAFISA, Finn Berggren, Gerlev Sports Academy, Denmark, Atsushi Abe, Director Sports Policy and Information Division, Department of Information & International Relations, Japan Sport Council.
