Simon Denyer, Joint-CEO of digital sport broadcasting experts Perform Group, will be speaking to an invitation only audience of 250 digital experts from brands, rights holders and agencies, at the inaugural Leaders in Digital Sport conference being hosted at Chelsea FC London on 6th October as part of the Leaders Sports Summit.

Perform Group is one of the largest sports broadcasters in the world, providing distribution of sports content across several digital platforms. Since its merger in 2007 the company has experienced rapid growth, and currently hold digital rights relating to more than 200 leagues, tournaments and events, as well as representing a network that boasted a viewership of 95 million global sports fans in January 2011.

Playing a key role in the original merger of Inform Group and Premium TV, Denyer was also instrumental in leading the company to its recent £550million floatation on the London Stock Exchange, which has been described as ‘an amazingly impressive feat for such a young company’. With previous roles at IMG and Sportal, Denyer has extensive knowledge on digital media having worked on the strategy and distribution for most major sports rights holders, including MLB, NFL, Bundesliga, The Football League, and many more.

Denyer joins a number of world class speakers including recently announced Peter Moore, President, EA Sports; and Ralph Rivera, Director of Future Media, BBC. The conference programme is available from www.leadersindigitalsport.com or by e-mailing digitalsport@leadersinevents.com.

Leaders in Digital Sport takes place within the Leaders Sports Summit, a coming together of 5 leading conferences including Football, Sponsorship, Performance and the business of Horse Racing, over 5th and 6th October at Chelsea FC.
