The Badminton World Federation (BWF) and HSBC cordially invites you to the launch of our new outdoor badminton game.

WHAT: Outdoor Badminton Global Launch

WHEN: Tianhe Gymnasium, Guangzhou, China

WHERE: 1pm, Monday 13 May 2019

With the ongoing support of HSBC, BWF has been working towards finding an effective, economic and sustainable way of inspiring more people to play more badminton in more places.

We have spent the last five years working with numerous collaborators to create an exciting new development in the sport, with an increased potential for a new, highly attractive form of competitive badminton, with a key focus on global participation.

This ambitious new development project has been specifically designed to create a greater number of opportunities for men and women of all ages and ability to play badminton on hard, grass and sand surfaces in parks, gardens, streets, playgrounds and beaches around the world.

Both the BWF and HSBC are hugely excited about the impact this development will have on the sport in this region and beyond.

Photo and video opportunities will be provided to all sections of the media of the activities at the launch, as will one-on-one interviews with VIPs and athletes. A Video News Release (VNR) package will also be made available post-event.
