British F3 Gets Green Flag as Sponsor

The British Formula 3 series announced the backing of leading motoring assistance company Green Flag. The deal is said to be worth about ú500,000 over a three year period, and marks the series’ entry into the PowerTour package which is the new 12-round series, run by the BRDC. Green Flag replaces Autosport magazine as title sponsor of the series. Previous British F3 champions include Formula One drivers Mika Hakkinen, Rubens Barrichello and Jensen Button.
