London – UK, February 12, 2003: Betfair, the country’s leading betting exchange, has appointed Connexus Group to oversee a sector of the company’s strategic marketing activities. Central to the appointment will be for Connexus to identify and implement various opportunities to develop unique programming content with television broadcasters.

One of the fastest growing UK companies, Betfair is revolutionising the UK betting market, achieving a matched-bets turnover in 2002 of more than £1.5 billion.

Connexus’ role will be to build strategic partnerships with broadcasters, to develop opportunities and for integrating Betfair’s unique betting information into relevant programming.
