Kamera, Europe’s leading Internet TV company, has recruited Andrew Kaza as a new member of the Board. Mr. Kaza, who is MD for the division Internet & Interactive at BBC Worldwide, will strengthen Kamera’s focus on Internet TV rights management and international business.

Before joining the BBC, Mr Kaza was Managing Partner of Mediaplex Ltd, an international media consultancy. During 1993-1995, Kaza was president at United International Pictures (UIP) Pay-TV Group in London. This included bottom line responsibility for the pay television licensing and the equity interests of joint venture between MGM, Paramount and Universal Studios, with cash flow exceeding $165 million worldwide in 1994.

Mr Kaza will be appointed as Kamera board member at the Annual General Meeting in the beginning of 2001.

Mr Kaza remains at BBC Worldwide, heading up the Internet and Interactive Division, and remains as board member of BBC Worldwide and a board member of beeb Ventures Ltd.
