The Bank of Scotland has announced that it will sponsor The Solheim Cup, the major event in the European and American Ladies Pro Golf calendar.

The Solheim Cup, which alternates between venues in Europe and the USA every two years, features the 12 leading women professionals from Europe versus their counterparts from America.

Ladies Golf is gaining more and more exposure, a fact highlighted by the Bank of Scotland’s new sponsorship of the Solheim Cup and the recent news that Sky Television will broadcast live the next two Sohleim Cup events.
