ATHENS, March 19—–The organizers of the Athens 2004 Olympics are considering whether to bring forward the dates of the Games by two weeks so that professional soccer players can take part. This would avoid conflicts with the European Champions League. The IOC had issued a request to change the schedule from August 13-29 however one of the main problems obstructing the change would be the availability of hotel accommodation. The decision is expected to be decided during the Coordination Commission visit to Athens on May 10-12.
