Archery Champion Justin Huish Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Selling Charges
VENTURA, March 19—US Archery double Gold medallist Justin Huish, 25, has pleaded not guilty
to charges by the Simi Valley Police in Ventura, California.
In February Huish was approached by a police informant wearing surveillance equipment and investigators listened in as he purchased marijuana from the archer. A search warrant was served and 4.5 ounces of marijuana and 4.2 ounces of hashish oil was found in his Chaps Court home resulting in felony possession with intent to sell. Bail was posted to avoid the maximum 4 year jail sentence.
The preliminary hearing will be the 5th of April, however in the meantime the National Archery Association is investigating the situation.
