Industry Veteran Andy Scott Named Asia/Australasia Bureau Chief for the Company

March17, 2009 – Apparent Gravity Media (AGM), a leading producer/distributor of action, extreme and adventure sports and youth culture lifestyle programming, has appointed Andy Scott to the newly created position of Bureau Chief for Asia/Australasia. The announcement was made today by George Krieger, Apparent Gravity Media’s President.

Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, Scott will be responsible for sales, marketing and licensing of all AGM events and series programming including the Dew Tours, The China Invitational, Mavericks Surf Contest and successful series such as 10Count, UNTRACKED and Project Detention.

“Andy’s credibility is unmatched in the region and is certain to give AGM an edge in strengthening our foothold in Asia,” said Krieger. “He brings a wealth of experience along with a vast network of relationships formed in previous executive roles at IMG, the NBA and ESPN. We are extremely delighted to welcome such a respected executive who will play an essential role in the continued growth of our company.”

Mr. Scott joins AGM from Makai Media; Earlier, He served as senior director of Television for IMG/TWI where he managed the program sales for the greater China region. Scott also served as senior director of television at NBA Asia, where he managed all television sales in Asia and Australasia for the NBA, WNBA and USA Basketball, and was responsible for launching the company’s satellite pool delivery program initiatives. He began his career at ESPN Asia, managing television broadcast syndication and cable network sales across Asia including, Japan, Australasia and Southeast Asia.
