Athletics Management & Services GmbH (AMS) announced today that it has been appointed by Dentsu Inc., Japan’s largest advertising agency, to manage the television broadcast rights for the IAAF Golden League comprising the international athletics meetings in Zurich, Brussels, Oslo, Berlin, Rome, and Paris.

AMS will also continue with the event management, marketing and operations for all IAAF World Athletics Series events including the forthcoming, IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, the IAAF World Championships in Paris 2003 and Helsinki 2005. The Series also includes the World Cross Country Championships, World Junior Championships, World Youth Championships, World Race Walking Championships, World Half Marathon Championships, World Cup and World Athletics Final.

AMS is a Swiss based sports marketing company founded by former ISL executives Chris Horrigan and Stephan Brubacher following the collapse of sports marketing giant ISL. AMS has a staff of professional sports marketing specialists with experience in all areas of Federation and Event media, marketing and delivery.

In addition an AMS Group company, Asian Games Marketing Limited (AGML), was recently responsible for the successful marketing of the 14th Asian Games Busan 2002, the largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games.

AMS provides marketing and event delivery services for IAAF, Olympic Council of Asia, and Golden League meetings.
