AMI today secured the rights to screen the FA Premier League across 17 Central and Eastern European territories.

This latest award adds to the company’s stable of blue chip sports programming held in various territories, which includes Formula One, athletics and boxing.

The deal offers considerable value to the FA Premier League as well as maximum exposure through free to air networks.

Richard Scudamore, Chief Executive of the FA Premier League, said: ‘This deal will deliver comprehensive coverage of all the best Premier League action to our fans across the 17 territories won by AMI.’

AMI based in the UK, was formed in the early eighties and is one of the leading distributors of premier sports programming throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

Owned by Robert Pickles the company has distributed
many major sporting properties during this time and focuses on motor sport and football. Pickles is also a partner and shareholder of boxing production company ‘KOTV Limited’.
