The National Rugby League (NRL), today has announced that it has signed an agreement with Allsport, the world’s premier sports photograph resource, as its official photographic agency. Under this agreement, Allsport will provide NRL with photographic services from every NRL premier, state of origin and international match for a minimum of the next three seasons.
Allsport, a Getty Images, Inc. brand, was the official photographer of last year’s Sydney Olympic Games, covering every event during the 17 days on behalf of the International Olympic Committee and Sydney Olympic Games Organizing Committee. Offering award-winning photographers and high-quality photographs, sports editors will now have access to the Allsport service of the most exciting and comprehensive images from NRL events. NRL images will be constantly updated for immediate editorial use and available via the Allsport Web site at www.allsport.com.
