  • Have home access to the Internet
  • Are employed in good jobs – professional or management
  • Follow the age profile of Internet users 18-35 year olds
  • One third of fans are women
  • Above average subscribers to Pay TV
  • Use the Internet as a regular news source
  • Favourite driver is Michael Schumacher with Jensen Button as the most improved
  • 68% have bought F1 merchandise
  • Recognise West, Marlboro, HSBC and Orange as sponsors
  • This survey of Formula One fans was carried out exclusively on the Internet with a randomly selected sample.
