The World Curling international governing body has entered into partnerships with media and content management solutions provider Globecast and video transport software platform GlobalM.

Through a deal unveiled today, the trio will collaborate in terms of delivering live coverage of global World Curling events, to the organization's array of broadcast partners.

The parties intend to make World Curling coverage feeds "secure, scalable, and cost-effective."

Globecast and GlobalM will work with the Scotland-based governing body to "reach more audiences, increase flexibility, and reduce operational overheads, all while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and quality."

Paul Calleja, GlobalM's chief executive, has now commented: "This collaboration showcases how our platform enables federations and rightsholders to deliver high quality live content worldwide, while also reducing operational complexity and cost.
