Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), the media and entertainment giant, will continue to provide live coverage of motor racing’s FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) after renewing its rights agreement across Europe and India until at least 2030.
Under the renewal, struck with organizer Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), all eight races on the WEC calendar, including the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans, will be shown across WBD’s platforms, including linear channels Eurosport (Europe) and TNT Sports (UK and Ireland), while all races will also be live-streamed by platforms HBO Max (Europe and India) and discovery+ (UK).

WBD’s coverage of the season starts with the series’ Official Prologue pre-season test in Qatar from March 22 to 23, before the Qatar 1812km on March 28.
WEC chief executive Frédéric Lequien said: “The FIA World Endurance Championship continues to go from strength to strength, with both on-site and broadcast audiences increasing year-on-year.
“With major events across four continents, the series continues to draw ever-greater crowds, demonstrating a growing global appetite for endurance racing. This new agreement ensures that fans in these key territories can enjoy live, comprehensive, and high-adrenaline coverage of every race for many years to come.”
Eurosport has aired the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2008, while HBO Max currently shows live sport in 40 European markets.

By GlobalDataHBO Max will also soon launch in Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, and the UK in early 2026 – the latter of which will become the streaming home of TNT Sports, replacing discovery+.
The rights renewal consolidates WBD’s motorsport portfolio, which includes the FIA World Rally Championship, the Dakar Rally, World Superbikes, Speedway GP, British Speedway Championships, Formula E, and the MotoGP (UK and Asia only).
The deal builds on a previous five-year deal between ACO and Discovery in 2021, before the media giant’s merger with Warner Bros., covering all WEC events in Europe, North America, and Asia
Trojan Paillot, senior vice president of sports rights acquisitions & syndication at WBD, said: “Motorsport is in our DNA, and we are committed to connecting fans with the biggest races on the planet throughout the season on both two and four wheels.
“As a long-term and trusted partner to the FIA WEC, we are excited to continue our mission of bringing coverage of Le Mans and every WEC race to new and larger audiences around the world for many years to come through our passion, expertise, and storytelling ability that celebrates the sport, teams, and drivers.”
The renewal comes a month after WBD renewed its long-term media rights partnership with motorcycling’s Motocross World Championships for the 2026 to 203 period, with Eurosport to air the property to subscribers across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, while in the UK and Ireland, it will be shown by pay-TV’s TNT Sports.
The broadcaster is currently gearing up for its coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina, Northern Italy, which runs between Feb 2 and 22.
Under that deal, WBD holds joint pan-European rights alongside the European Broadcasting Union.
